Hi all, I recently purchased a brand new Kimber 10mm Eclipse and have been experiencing massive FTF issues right from the start. I tried several different magazines; Kimber, MetalForm, MecGar & Tripp Cobra. I also tried several different factory ammunition brands; Sellier & Bellot, PMC Bronze, PPU (Prvi Partizan) & Remington UMC.Grip the slide at the rear and pull it back about 2 inches. Then insert the take down tool into the hold on the guide rod. This will hold the spring at tension. Then just remove the slide catch as you would normally and take the slide and barrel off from the rear to the front.
