Blessed d'hide of any god is exactly the same as black d'hide but each piece has a +1 pray bonus. Karils is more mage def, less melee def, I believe offensive stats are identical. Anywhere that melee def or prayer matters most, blessed dhide, anywhere that mage def ...D'hide shield. Book of law is probably the only useful off hand book these days. (unless you are a pure) The stats are solid for its price, and you don't lose it. All the other books are outclasses, or out priced a lot easier by their style's alternatives. Book of Darkness is still pretty good if you don't want to shell out the money for a mage ....
